We’re delighted to welcome mix engineer Leslie Brathwaite (Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Pharrell Williams, Outkast, Cardi B…) to Mix With the Masters!
He will be conducting his first mixing seminar at Studios La Fabrique in the south of France from APRIL 16 to 22, 2019.
After working primarily on analog tape and large-format consoles in Atlanta from 1992, Brathwaite shifted toward the digital realm in the new millennium. He now follows a fully digital workflow through which he achieves astonishing results.
This is a private, in-person seminar, during which Leslie Brathwaite will be sharing his mixing techniques and philosophy exclusively with the participants. They will also have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback and work with him on their own projects.
The seminar will cover many aspects of record-making, from engineering to production and business; however, the primary focus will be on Leslie’s ITB mixing workflow. While various genres will be discussed, Brathwaite’s speciality is in urban music (R&B, hip-hop, trap, and pop).
For the duration of the seminar, attendees will have full-board accommodation at the high-end recording studio, each with their own rooms within the mansion and gourmet meals prepared by our chefs.
