IsoAcoustics is well known for its speaker isolation products, and recently made available a White Paper on the subject on its website. The White Paper explains the principles of speaker isolation and explains tests performed by the National Research Council of Canada.

IsoAcoustics President Dave Morrison explains that even though the specific results quoted are from tests of the company’s GAIA-II speaker isolators on floor-standing hi-fi speaker towers, the general principles and results described in the NRC results are applicable to pro audio monitors and speaker isolator stands such as the Aperta and ISO Series.

The white paper can be found at this link in web format and will soon be available as a downloadable PDF.
