Etymotic Research is pleased to announce the launch of two new earphone models, the ER3SE™ Studio Edition and the ER3XR™ Extended Response earphones, both offered at an MSRP of $179, as value priced versions of the company’s category leading ER4 reference standard earphones. The Etymotic ER4SR™ Studio Reference model and the ER4XR™ Extended Response model with enhanced and extended bass are the most accurate earphones in their class.
The ER3SE features Etymotic’s hallmark studio grade accuracy with more of a flat response. The ER3XR with low-end enhancement is the earphone for music lovers and hi-fi enthusiasts who want accuracy in the midrange and high frequencies, but appreciate a bit of extra presence in the lower end. Both models are built with single, high performance, balanced armature drivers for quality sound and higher sensitivity for increased SPL and feature precision machined, anodized metal bodies with a durable, detachable 4 ft. cable.
“Etymotic invented noise-isolating, in-ear earphones, giving consumers an unparalleled listening experience superior to other in-ears including those with ‘active noise-cancellation’” said Etymotic VP of Sales and Marketing Al Arends. “For 25 years, the company has developed state-of-the-art insert earphones that have become the standard for quality sound reproduction. Now, with the arrival of the ER3SE and ER3XR, consumers can enjoy the quality of sound for which Etymotic is known, at an attractive price point.”
