Bjooks are photography-driven music books that inspire musical creativity — whether the reader is a musician or not — which makes them the perfect gift for any dad this Father’s Day. The boutique publishing company was started and is run by author and musician Kim Bjørn. His first book, PUSH TURN MOVE, was published in 2017. This was followed by PATCH & TWEAK in 2018, which has since been referred to as the ‘Bible of Modular Synthesis.’ PEDAL CRUSH was released in 2019 and is ideal for any guitar lover. PATCH & TWEAK with Moog was launched in 2020 and the most recent title SYNTH GEMS, came out late last year and is a visual resource for all music lovers. The mission of Bjooks is to create exciting titles about music technology, artists, and makers, in order to document, inspire, and explore the world of music creation.
