TEC 2026 Finalist LogoThe OC-S10 even stands out among this year’s fierce competition: a large-diaphragm condenser microphone made for those who understand what excellence truly sounds like. Handcrafted in Vienna, Austria, it is tailored for elite sound engineers and artists who refuse to compromise. Based on the classic side-contacted large condenser capsule the OC-S10 defines the sound of future sought-after sound signatures rather than copying historic products. Modern technology and innovative features like dual outputs make it an exceptionally versatile and high-performance tool for professional vocal and instrument recording. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved — this microphone represents our technology at its peak, crafted for the art of music. I’m confident that the OC-S10 will inspire songwriters, musicians, engineers, and producers to create their best work yet. It’s an honor — though not a surprise — that the TEC Awards panel recognized our efforts and selected the OC-S10 as a finalist for the 2026 TEC Awards,” says Martin Seidl, CEO of Austrian Audio with a smile.

Mike Enjo, one of the leading music production content creators, host of the YouTube channel CreativeSauce and award-winning songwriter, shares this view about the OC-S10: “I’m super impressed. In fact, while testing it inspired us so, we ended up writing a song while using it! Just honestly a very VERY good mic. Well done!”

After also testing the OC-S10,  Platinum & Billboard Charting Mix Mastering Engineer & Producer, David Gnozzi said: “This mic sounds absolutely beautiful! They really made something special. Also the manufacturing and details are crazy. Great job!”

The TEC Awards, presented by NAMM, recognize outstanding achievements in technical excellence and creativity in pro audio and sound production. Austrian Audio has already won a TEC Award for their Hi-X65 headphones in 2022, and had multiple nominations in 2025, including the MiCreator Studio microphone, The Composer headphones, and Full Score one amplifier.

The 41st Annual NAMM TEC Awards will return to Southern California, in January 2026 as part of The 2026 NAMM Show.
