“Reaching Out” is a female vocal rock song. Dan wrote the lyrics and co-wrote the music, in addition to playing the guitars and handling all of the programming, recording/mixing and mastering (“in my basement”, says Dan). Albert Nobles played the bass and Kelly Nobles-Grange sang the world-class vocals.
Oh, and did we mention the world class vocals? Yeah, we did, but we’ll mention them again, WORLD CLASS vocals. Kelly is some type of divine cross between Ann Wilson and Judy Collins. Hey, don’t ask us, it just works!
Extra special shout out to Dan for the masterful job that he did in capturing said vocals in all their power and glory, without squashing them to death with overcompression. This is how it’s done, boys and girls.
Summary: Crazy Good!!
