This page offers a link to a time-limited download from Sony Creative Software, to accompany our July 2010 review of Sony's new soundware libraries Continental Drift and Continental Drift: Aftershocks.

As we mentioned in the review, there was more material recorded at the Continental Drift sessions than was released on the first two libraries, and Sony Creative Software is making it available here and there.

As a courtesy to our readers, Sony is offering a downloadable ZIP file with content that's exclusive to this package; a variety of added samples that go with the two libraries under review, plus sample loops of performances on a rare pre-Civil-War-era Martin guitar shown in the photo above. It's a pretty big download, about 100 MB, so you'll want to get it with a fast connection, but it's available free of charge to all of our readers as a taster of the great content in the Continental Drift libraries!
