ASCAP Teases Video For 100th Birthday
ASCAP has released a star-studded video on as part of the countdown to its 100th anniversary on February 13, 2014. It's a taste of more to come from a longer form "Why We Create Music" film, and features fifteen ASCAP heavies: Aloe Blacc, Claudia Brant, Carter Burwell, Amy Grant, Josh Kear, Savan Kotecha, David Lang, Charles Kelley and David Haywood of Lady Antebellum, Bear McCreary, Ne-Yo, Stargate, Dan Wilson, and Bill Withers.

ASCAP commissioned "Why We Create Music" to celebrate its centennial, hand-in hand with the launch of the fact filled, interactive website, The website is growing over the 100 days of the campaign and each day a new year's worth of content is revealed.
