RODE Microphones Stages Pre-NAMM Event

Australian microphone manufacturer RODE staged a celebratory presentation to invited distributors and members of the audio-industry press on January 22, 2013, the Tuesday before the opening of the NAMM show. It took place in the ballroom of the lavish Montage Resort Hotel in Orange County's Laguna Beach.
RODE's Peter Freedman emphasized the importance of the company's new video mics, in particular the following three:
iXY Stereo Microphone delivering 24/96 studio quality for iPhone and iPad
RODE Video Mic with Rycote shockmount suitable for DSLRs as well as video cameras
smartLav Professional Lapel Microphone, suitable for iOS devices, especially attractive when paired with the RØDE Rec app.
Other new products, including new microphones for the recording studio, will follow in a few months.
