Quote of the Day

“If my ability is based upon technology, it means that I have no sense of myself! That’s exactly what happens when ‘who I am’ and ‘what I do’ becomes ‘what I have.’ And that’s dangerous.”- André Fischer

Dr. Suess Teaches Acoustics (badly)

December 18, 2008

Scott Dorsey knows my predilection for weird and wonderful media mashups, so he sent me a link to an audio ad by Dr. Suess in which the great illustrator incorrectly but hilariously explains what "wild tones" are and how his client's newly designed speaker cabinet tires out those naughty little wild tones before they can assault your ears. It's not exactly John Eargle, but it's definitely worth a grin.
